We live in a world where violence is glorified. Every week-end people are beaten to death in brawls, and the perpetrators sentenced with manslaughter are free to walk in just over a year for good behavior. It is even worse that governments like the USA teach their society's keepers of the peace to "shoot to kill, not to mime" is yet another sad indication of the general decline into depravity which the world is struggling with. The murders of many are sanctioned by adoption of such attitudes which undermine the rule of law. Such a lax attitude to the sanctity of life can not be considered any better than aiding and abetting murder. Life for a life is common sense. Anyone who can kill in the heat of a moment is a danger to society -whether they are paid by the state to do so or otherwise. Society must be educated concerning the sanctity of life in order for significant change to take effect.
